The video shows an alternative notation to the regular subtraction algorithm, where the numbers are broken down in to hundreds, tens, and ones, before regrouping (borrowing). For example, 56 is written as 50 + 6. The regrouping then becomes more transparent and easier for the student to understand.

He went over his syllabus the other day and told us we’d be talking about religions. He said he’s not picking on them, but he had a clip of it; as well as Scientology and others. Now I’m not sure if I’m just overreacting, but I think if you’re going to teach us what religious believe why not have an accurate, unbiased way of it?
Should I talk to him? Should I let him do it and just clarify to the class that it’s just poking fun of the LDS church or what?

Question:
I have an interview tomorrow for a substitute teaching job and I was planning on wearing tan khakis and a tucked in dress shirt with no tie. Is this appropriate or should I be more formal and go with the tie. I don’t want to over dress and I figure since teaching jobs are probably business casual I would be dressed just fine. What are your opinions?
