Question:
Hope you’re having a good day. My physics teacher assigned a sciene experiment; and 2 days from now, we have to have an experiment thought up / picked out. He does not want it to be biologiy related (eg: plant growing one). He wants it to be a physical sciene related one. he gave a few suggestions; which batter brand lasts the longest, which toilet paper brand absorbs the most liquid, does reaction time vary at different times of the day, etc.

I don’t have a lot of resources and don’t want to do anything I can’t test; he said we have to be able to take 3 pictures to prove we are doing the experiment, record reliable and accurate data, and be able to make a graph, pie chart, or something along those lines with the data. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Question:
Not like scrap booking or anything like that. I’m talking like hands on graphic design, things people will buy. Things with beads, string, ribbon, things like that? I’ve done enough scrap booking recently. I’m looking for something creative along those lines.

Any help?

Question:
I have a group of six people, and we have to create a project for art during the world war II era (I have abstract art), and we need a “visual”, “handout”, and “interactive”. The visual is something to present the different paintings and things, the handout is something we can give out to about 50 students with our information on it, and the interactive is something to get all the students involved that has to do with the art. Any ideas?

Question:
I am a middle school severe ebd teacher. The levels of my students are about 10-12 years old. I want to start teaching through the back door. By “the back door” I mean I want to start teaching using projects. For example, do cooking because it teaches math, design a house and build it (measuring and writing), go to walgreens.com and design a calendar using pictures, turn the classroom into a mini-business, etc. My question is does anyone have any resources for these types of ideas or no where I can find more ideas. The paper and pencil thing just isn’t working for my students. Thank you!
Thanks chcuda9! You seem to know a bit about what I am looking for. I am going to try and do this for every class…reading, math, writing, social skills and science. If some of those subjects overlap in the subjects that of course would be fine too. I am thinking it will be fine to do hands-on science experiments on their own their own though..

Question:
my new AS art project is titled ‘rhythms and cycles’
