Is electric bass easy to play? And, is it hard to teach my self?

I play trumpet, piano, drums, saxaphone and a little acoustic guitar. So i already know the music method. Thanks for your answers!

Question:
I teach Persian through Iranian music and carefully transcribing the lyrics (in latin alphabet) and translating them into English, providing a very selective list of words used in the song so that you can learn the language like a dream by only listening to music, because with the help of the rhythm it will stick in your mind easily. Once you’ve learned enough words, we can move on to explain the structure of the sentences. I’ve taught my American friend how to make simple sentences. She could do it after only listening to 2 songs.
