Is there another way to go about it without having to take classes that I dont’ need? I just don’t want to go through something and find out that I didn’t need to go that route.

  1. I doubt it because to teach at that level you’ll need a teacher’s certificate. And to get that you need to go through education which would in fact cover all subjects… hope this helps

  2. Elementary school teachers teach all subjects, there are no ‘math-only’ teachers at that level.

  3. To teach in a school you need an education degree.
    Elementary teachers usually do not specialize – they teach the class all subjects.
