Question:
In science class, my teacher told us that water is a renewable resource and petroleum is a nonrenewable resource. My question is why are they in seperate categories?

Question:
I saw the answer to the person who was asking about becoming a teacher with a low high school GPA, but my question is about becoming a teacher with a low college GPA.

My major was in Natural Resources, so I didn’t take any classes specifically in education. I went through a period of severe depression midway through my junior year and my grades never really recovered.

I had been considering trying to become a science teacher for a while and even wanted to sign up for Teach for America, but my GPA is too low for that program, and it seems like all the schools I can find that have teaching certification courses want you to apply as if going to grad school, thus excluding me by low GPA once again. How can I get my teaching certification with a low GPA?

Question:
Ok this is what the paper says. “BACKGROUND INFO: This is the section of your paper that you have become an “expert” on your topic. You will want to include history of your topic, important scientists who have done work in this area of science, important facts and previous experiments related to your topic. Many resources can be used including, library resources, internet, science books, teachers, family members, classmates, television programs, conversations with scientists, and fieldtrips to museums, zoos, etc. The background information section should include an intro[1 para] body [3-5 para] and conclusion[1para]. THIS DOES NOT include anything about your experiment or the results of your experiment.

Question:
I’ve heard a lot of criticism of advanced classes lately, more from those who are NOT in the programs. What I’d like to know is that, if your student is not in those classes, why would you try to shut them down?

As an AP student myself, I feel underappreciated by the parents who call my principal everyday to complain about APs and honors classes. As a result, our funding is being funneled to classes to ‘get studnets back on track’, and the advanced classes are left with nothing. We now require huge amounts of money from students, especially in science laboratory classes, because the teacher only has enough funding for one class, not 5.

My question is directed towards those parents whos students are not in any advanced classes, and it is this: What is the justification for your actions? Why would advanced classes bother you so much that you would have our resources relocated and the programs shut down? What do you have against these classes in the first place?

Question:
Well all i simply done was forward an email to my teacher, saying nothing inappropriate, saying “Bill Gates”.

She then got me banned from the school system leaving me unable to continue with my GCSE science coursework, is this illegal because the results of my GCSE can be down to her limiting me to resources.

Question:
I’m an elementary teacher with licensure for K-6 and gifted K-12. I want to further my options within the field. I have the opportunity to take over a position as media specialist at another elementary school. In taking this I will have to get my master’s in library science. My other option is to stay with elementary another year and get my national board certification, and in another year start a master’s in reading education. I’m really torn between the two and need to give an answer to the superintendent of human resources within the next couple of days. What would you do?
